2021 Lapor red

The wine is an intense ruby-purple color. The flower is ripe, very intense. We perceive the aroma of overripe red fruit, especially berries, smoke. We also perceive Mediterranean spices (thyme, oregano). In the mouth dry, strong, full, with moderate and balanced acids,  intense, warm, the tannins are abundant and ripe, with a long aftertaste.

Grape variety: 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Cabernet Franc, 15% Merlot, 15%

Blue frankincense

Location of the vineyard: terraces, plateau, southern position

Soil structure: marl, sandstone

Harvesting: Thinning the grapes when they start to turn color, hand harvesting.

Bottling: 4200 bottles

Alcohol: 15.0 vol.%

Total sulfites: 42 mg/l

Serving temperature: from 18 to 20°C

Pairing with food: It goes well with game dishes, roasted red meat,  (beef, foal),  matured and spicy cheese.

Aging potential: The wine is at the beginning of its journey, although suitable for consumption, but will gain in harmony and drinkability over time, and will probably reach its peak at the age of 8 years.

Vinification: Spontaneous fermentation with maceration for 14 days, light pressing 

Maturation: 24 months in barrique barrels
